Yes. Every piece is handmade by me, Pam, in my small garden studio in Doncaster. Because each item is individually crafted, slight variations in size, shape, and glaze are part of what makes handmade pottery unique.

No. Each piece has its own character and subtle differences. These variations are a natural part of the handmade process and makes every item one of a kind.

Pieces intended for serving food will be made using food-safe glazes and will be clearly described as suitable for food use. Decorative pieces are not intended for use with food.

Care instructions will vary depending on the piece. Where an item is suitable for use in the microwave or dishwasher, this will be stated in the product description. Handwashing is recommended to help preserve your pottery.

I’m happy to consider commissions for bespoke ceramic pieces. If you have something in mind, please get in touch and I’ll let you know if it’s something I’m able to create.

Yes! Every stage of the process from preparing the clay and throwing or hand building , to glazing and firing is completed by me in my Doncaster studio.

I work in small batches, so new collections are added throughout the year. The best way to keep up to date is by following SugarPlum Ceramics on Instagram.

Postal delivery is not currently available but will be offered in the future. I currently offer collection from my Doncaster studio or free local delivery to selected Doncaster postcodes (DN1, DN4, DN10, DN11 and DN12). If you’re unsure whether you’re within the delivery area, please get in touch before placing your order.
