Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, the transfer will be made in accordance with UK data protection law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include transferring information to a country or organisation covered by UK adequacy regulations or using appropriate safeguards such as approved contractual arrangements.
For example, Squarespace states that it may process information internationally, including in the United States, and uses recognised transfer mechanisms for UK personal information, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable and contractual safeguards where required.
Payment providers may use their own lawful international transfer mechanisms.
You can request further information about the safeguards relevant to your personal information by contacting me at hello@sugarplumceramics.co.uk.

I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including meeting legal, accounting and tax requirements.
Information relating to purchases and financial transactions may need to be retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting laws.
Information relating solely to an enquiry that does not result in a purchase will be deleted when it is no longer reasonably required.
