Amber Calla is a sculptural ceramic vase, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its gently waisted form opens into a wide, flared rim and is finished in warm cream, amber-brown and deep blue-teal. Three sculpted calla lilies rise across the front, their dark petals and raised stems adding depth and botanical detail.
The glaze continues into the interior, where flowing bands of colour echo the decoration on the outside. Natural variations in the glaze and hand-shaped form highlight its handmade character.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, Amber Calla brings warm earthy colour and an elegant sculptural quality to a shelf, console or table.
