Azure Petal is a sculptural ceramic bowl, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its generous, open form is framed by a softly rippling rim, giving the piece an organic, flower-like quality. Soft cream and pale blue blend with deeper blue accents and warm caramel-brown markings, flowing towards the centre in delicate, sweeping patterns.
The softly toned cream exterior contrasts with the richly patterned interior, while the gently rising and falling edges reveal the glaze from different angles. Natural variations in colour and the hand-shaped form add to its handmade character.
Designed as a decorative centrepiece, Azure Petal brings gentle colour and sculptural interest to a dining table, coffee table or console.
Dimensions: Approx. 26.5 cm width × 24 cm depth × 11 cm height
