Blue Dahlia is a one-of-a-kind sculptural bowl, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its flowing, organic form is finished in rich layers of deep blue and turquoise, with lighter crystalline details radiating naturally through the glaze. Darker blue tones gather around the undulating rim, beautifully defining the shape and adding depth to the finish.
The hand-shaped form rises and falls around the bowl, while the distinctive glaze pattern draws the eye towards the centre and creates a sense of movement across the surface. Natural variations within the glaze and the individually formed shape make this a completely unique piece.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, Blue Dahlia brings rich colour, intricate pattern and sculptural form to a shelf, console or table.
