Blush Tide is a one-of-a-kind sculptural bowl, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its flowing, organic form is finished in soft blush pink, with washes of pale blue and blue-green moving naturally through the glaze. Deeper earthy tones gather within the folds and around the softly undulating rim, adding contrast and depth to the delicate colour palette.
The hand-shaped form rises and falls around the bowl, creating a gently petalled silhouette that changes as the piece is viewed from different angles. Natural variations within the glaze and the individually formed shape make this a completely unique piece.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, Blush Tide brings soft colour, movement and sculptural form to a shelf, console or table.
