Ember Bloom is a sculptural ceramic vase, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its softly flared form is finished in rich russet, warm amber and muted plum, with flowing blue-green glaze creating striking contrasts across the surface. The finely textured, ruffled rim opens out like unfolding petals, giving the piece an organic, flower-like quality.
The glaze continues into the interior, where the colours mingle in sweeping patterns and deeper pools of tone. Small feet gently lift the vase, while natural variations in the glaze and hand-shaped form highlight its handmade character.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, Ember Bloom brings rich colour and a dramatic sculptural quality to a shelf, console or table.
