Heather is a one-of-a-kind sculptural bowl, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its gently undulating form is finished in layered tones of blue, green and plum, with the glaze flowing from the rim towards the centre. A warm-toned edge follows the irregular outline, subtly defining the shape and adding further depth to the colour.
The hand-shaped form rises and falls around the bowl, while the radiating glaze creates a sense of movement across the interior. Natural variations within the glaze and the individually formed shape make this a completely unique piece.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, this bowl brings rich colour, movement and sculptural form to a shelf, console or table.
