Midnight Calla is a coordinated set of three ceramic posy vases, each individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Their slender forms are finished in rich midnight blue, deep plum and subtle smoky tones, with flowing glaze creating variations across the glossy surface. Sculpted black calla lilies climb each vase, their soft ivory centres adding a delicate contrast.
The raised flowers and curved stems bring texture and depth to the simple shapes, while the graduated heights create a balanced arrangement. Each vase has its own glaze patterns and hand-shaped details, complementing the others within the set.
Displayed together or individually, Midnight Calla brings rich colour and botanical detail to a shelf, mantelpiece or console. Their narrow openings lend themselves to a few dried stems, while the sculpted flowers make them equally striking displayed on their own.
Sold as a set of three vases.
Dimensions: Approx.
Large: 4.5 cm width × 17.5 cm height
Medium: 4 cm width × 16.5 cm height
Small: 3.5 cm width × 13 cm height
