Oyster is a one-of-a-kind sculptural bowl, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its dramatic flowing form is finished in warm cream and earthy brown tones, with subtle blue-green details appearing where the glazes meet. The glaze moves organically across the interior, creating bold areas of colour that follow the folds and curves of the piece.
The hand-shaped form rises and falls into a deeply sculptural, flower-like silhouette, while the raised foot gives the bowl additional height and presence. Natural variations within the glaze and the individually formed shape make this a completely unique piece.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, this bowl brings organic movement, contrasting colour and sculptural form to a shelf, console or table.
