Description
Tidal is a one-of-a-kind sculptural bowl, individually handmade in my Doncaster studio.
Its distinctive hand-shaped form rises into four softly pointed corners, creating an elegant silhouette that changes as the piece is viewed from different angles. The flowing glaze combines soft cream, pale blue-grey and subtle earthy brown tones, with natural variations creating delicate, organic markings across the surface.
The gently folded sides and irregular rim give Tidal a fluid, almost flower-like quality, while the reactive glaze accentuates the movement and character of the form. Each variation in colour and finish is unique to the firing process, making this a truly individual piece.
Designed as a decorative statement piece, Tidal brings a calm, natural quality to a shelf, console or table.
